“I smell a conspiracy here. Marlene calls from the entryway, “Janet, come back here and take those shoes off! x video “Oh Mike,”she cries, “you know I can drink you under the table any night of the week.” She giggles and rushes to help Marlene set out the drinks. I had only just heard about it on the news.”
“Did you know her?”
“Not really. He finds coffee in the dripolator and pours himself a cup. He says, “Good day, Ma’am.” Then he proceeds towards the front door. He says to himself that must be where the Police car was rushing. I’ll let you know tonight.”
They chat a bit longer and soon Nina drives into the driveway two doors down and waves.
